As most of you would probably know by now, we are indeed very sad to learn of the passing of our beloved Fr Edward Soosai. Many of us would remember him in the days when he was the Spiritual Advisor of the Society. As the SD of the Society, he was very instrumental in motivating many of us Vincentians in our formation and in helping promote our works to the Poor. His death has come as a shock to all of us who known to him and have grown to love him.
The late Fr Edward, even after he relinquished his duties as EA/SD of the Society, continued to work with the Society and was always interested in the well being of the Society and its members. He was a very affable man who had a flair for telling jokes. Personally he has been very supportive in all our works especially in Batu Arang a few years back. The members of the State Council of Selangor will miss him.
We take comfort in knowing that our Fr Edward Soosai, as our Lord Jesus has promised us, will already be rejoicing in His company by now.
